Cambridge Muslim College invites expressions of interest for the following teaching positions for its planned BA in Contextual Islamic Studies:

Lecturer in Theology

Lecturer in Scriptural Interpretation

Lecturer in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh)

CMC is aiming to start this programme in September 2016. The first cohort of ten students will be sent abroad on a year’s worth of intensive Arabic language training. They will then begin classes in the Islamic sciences and other modules. We are therefore looking for teachers for this course to begin working at CMC in September 2017 and this post will continue for up to three years. Applicants would be expected to have a doctorate or equivalent qualification and experience in a relevant field, as well as a track record of teaching. The salary will be dependent on experience and competitive for University Lecturer posts.
